c. Voluntarily provided location Information

If you allow, we may collect your device’s location to provide location-based services, such as reporting issues or finding city services nearby.
Voluntarily provided access to your pictures, and your calendar

Please rest assured that our Services shall only collect personal information that you knowingly and willingly provide by way of completed forms, emails, or by voluntarily accepting their access. It is the intent of our Services to use personal information only for the purpose for which it was requested and any additional uses specifically provided on the Services.

It is highly recommended and suggested that you review the privacy policies and statements to better understand the way in which other websites/apps garner, make use of, and share the information collected.

Use of Information Collected

We use your information for the following purposes:

To provide and improve the App's functionality and services to ensure delivery of the service you need and request.
Your voluntarily provided location can be used to provide content that is specific to certain locations which are geo-enabled or configured with location beacons. To communicate with you about city updates, service requests, or events.
To analyze usage trends and improve user experience.
To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests, we may disclose your personal information, without prior notice to you and/or in good faith belief that such actions are deemed necessary or is required in an effort to:

Remain in conformance with any decrees, laws, and/or statures or in an effort to comply with any process which may be served upon the City of Reidsville and/or our services;
Maintain, safeguard, and/or preserve all the right and/or property of City of Reidsville;
Perform under demanding conditions to safeguard the personal safety of users of our services and/or the general public.

The city of Reidsville does not now, nor will it in the future sell, rent, or lease any of the customers lists and/or names to any third parties.

We do not sell your personal information. However, we may share your data with:

City Departments: To address service requests or feedback.
Service Providers: Third-party vendors assisting with App operations (e.g., hosting, analytics).

Unsubscribe or Opt- Out

Opt-Out: You can choose not to provide certain information but may lose access to specific features. All users and/or visitors to our Services have the option to discontinue receiving communications from us and/or reserve the right to discontinue receiving communications by way of email or newsletters. To discontinue or unsubscribe from our communications, please send an email to itsupport@reidsvillenc.gov requesting to be removed.
Location Services: You can disable location sharing in your device settings. All app users have the option to discontinue access to the information collected by such apps or to discontinue receiving communications from us or our affiliates by disabling such access in the settings of the app or the overall settings of their respective device operating system.
Account Deletion: Contact us at itsupport@reidsvillenc.gov to delete your account and associated information.

Children Under Age of 13

This App is not intended for children under the age of 13. The City of Reidsville does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13), if aware, we shall immediately take the necessary steps to ensure that such information is deleted from our system’s database. Anyone under the age of thirteen (13) must seek and obtain parent or guardian permission to use our services.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

City of Reidsville reserves the right to update and/or change the terms of our privacy policy. We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted in the App and effective immediately upon posting.

Our Services do contain links to affiliates and other websites. 14 Oranges does not claim nor accept responsibility for any privacy policies, practices, and/or procedures of other such websites. Therefore, we encourage all users and visitors to be aware when they leave our Services and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information including the policies from YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and Google (https://policies.google.com/privacy). The aforementioned Privacy Policy Agreement applies only and solely to the information collected by our Services.

Acceptance of Terms

Using the App and Services, you hereby accept the terms and conditions stipulated within the aforementioned Privacy Policy Agreement. If you are not in agreement with our terms and conditions, then you should refrain from further use of our App and Services. In addition, your continued use of our App and Services following the posting of any updates or changes to our terms and conditions shall mean that you are in agreement and acceptance of such changes.
